Yeah I saw this one, after watching all of Twitter videos of Kelenic hitting well I have noticed again he changed his stance. I have a lot of faith in him but he needs a legitimate hitting coach because you work your tail off in the off-season and have 4 different stances. He needs his stance to stay consistent if he ever if going to achieve consistency in the big leagues.

Wasn't it Ripken Jr that would change his stance almost daily? Crazy to think. I liked Kelenic when he was more bent over than straight up. Better coverage and better view of the ball IMO.

I don’t think it is pressure. Every player puts pressure on himself, I just don’t think he is mature enough to handle it at the moment. It’s not like he doesn’t have pressure being a 22 year old playing in AAA. Baseball isn’t basketball or football where you can succeed when you are immature. You have to learn how to fail and not implode, which he didn’t implode defensively which is a primary reason I think his offense will eventually come around it’s just a matter of when not if. I will defend Jerry on this that he knew he wasn’t ready but Mather screwed that whole situation up and made it impossible for him not to call him up when he destroyed AAA for a week.
I really hope you're right that he figures it out.

I just have a bad feeling that he will continue bouncing between AAA and the big leagues, eventually get traded then become the player we all hoped he would be.

Man his swing is so beautiful.

His numbers look good and the highlights look great, but I find it concerning that even in AAA he's still striking out a lot. I'd find it a lot more reassuring if he wasn't still striking out a ton.

That was actually one of the things I noticed from that video and wasn't sure if I was crazy thinking he has changed his stance. It kind of reminds me of Ty France but on the left side. I wonder if they have him watching film on France trying to emulate it.

Mariners INF prospect Edwin Arroyo went 3-for-6 with two walks for Low-A Modesto on Sunday.

Arroyo, 18, drove in a run while scoring a pair of his own. The 18-year-old has been impressive in his first full professional season with a .317 average, 10 homers and nine stolen bases over his 53 games. A switch-hitter who also is a switch-thrower -- he pitched with his left hand and uses that arm if in the outfield -- Arroyo can make hard contact to all parts of the field, and there’s more power than anticipated at this point in his development. He’s a strong defender up the middle, and while he could handle the outfield if necessary, it doesn’t seem like it will be. Arroyo has a few years to go before he’s ready -- keep in mind he won’t turn 19 until the end of August -- but he’s seen his stock rise as much as any member of the 2021 draft class, if not more.
