Yeah but before the season any realistic Mariners fan thought the Wild Card was the ceiling. Though all of the Mariners “experts” said Texas was going to be badWell last 10 games we gained zero on Houston, Texas after going 7-3. We only gained one game on the Angels as well.

If they ever decide to stop playing like dog shit over the first two months they might find themselves not so far back in early season standings.Well last 10 games we gained zero on Houston, Texas after going 7-3. We only gained one game on the Angels as well.

Really it's. X4..If they ever decide to stop playing like dog shit over the first two months they might find themselves not so far back in early season standings.
Mariners may have caught a break not having Marco pitch in this series given it looks like around half of the runs he allows are via the long ball.I like the pitching matchups. Hopefully they keep driving in runs for them.
I feel really stupid now in retrospect dismissing the Rangers. They've got a pretty damn good team after handing out half a billion in contract obligations the last few offseasons.Yeah but before the season any realistic Mariners fan thought the Wild Card was the ceiling. I didn’t necessarily get flack for saying but I remember the Mariners slightly got better than the Astros but had 15 wins to make up. I think the past off-season the Rangers have gotten significantly better than the Mariners but had games to make up. I definitely didn’t think they’d be leading the division at all but I thought they would be close. I have given up on the Angels cause it seems every year they are better than the Mariners on paper.I feel really stupid now in retrospect dismissing the Rangers.
