Maybe that seat is getting a tad warm.Passan: What Seattle Mariners' 'lack of focus' means 65 games in
ESPN's Jeff Passan shared his reaction to Seattle Mariners manager Scott Servais calling out his team over the weekend for a "lack of focus."sports.mynorthwest.com
Right here is the problem. He's trying his best to smash HR's in BP and if we had a real hitting coach he be teaching Cal how to square up and hit singles and doubles and telling him the HR's will happen.
It's probably because they're all tech people who have no emotional attachment to the sport, or team for that matter. Also I doubt Stanton would want to sell. His investment is working well for him. For the fans? Not so much.I am really shocked that Bezo’s hasn’t. We’ve had Gates, Ballmer and Bezo’s, plus all those hedge funds guys who were going to buy the Kings and built a 100% private arena and all of them don’t want the Mariners. Feelings not facts, but it seems like it would be the easiest sport to own especially for the Mariners who have a roof.
I agree he doesn't want to sell a guaranteed money maker, but Bezos did want to buy the Washington Commanders so he likes sports to some degree. Don't forget Paul Allen and Steve Balmer. Some nerds like owning sports since they couldn't play them when they were kids...lol.It's probably because they're all tech people who have no emotional attachment to the sport, or team for that matter. I said a few weeks ago we had nothing, and I mean nothing, to lose by calling him up. 3 in 5 games now.
My brother was just over and we were talking about having guys that are hungry. You can't win without them. He is hungry to stay and knows he might not have many more chances. He is playing like he wants to keep his job. You gotta like that
