So you're gonna compare their running backs instead of the two qbs? One qb is averaging more ypc, more yards per pass, better qb percentage, fewer interceptions, and one less touchdown.

Also, Malena is averaging 6.2 yards per carry compared to Barners 6.6. Manziel is doing a lot because of his offensive line, Mariota is doing a lot because of his running backs. Seems like a moot point, I just think TAMUs line is the most underrated, probably the best, unit in college football bar none.

I have a hard time believing Oregon's line is not that good when 3 players from the backfield have such impressive stats.

If Texas A&M's line is so good, shouldn't his running back be better than 78th in rushing yards?

Because they don't have the backs in the backfield like Barner and DAT and they don't have the same scheme as Oregon. The line at aTm is extremely talented, and experienced, and they have two of the best tackles in America. Maybe they are better pass blockers than run blockers, maybe its because their running backs are just not nearly as good. Seriously, Manziel was not under pressure much in the pocket of the Alabama game, do you disagree with that? Is Manziel good, absolutely. Is Manziel part of the reason the offense is successful, yes. Is he the best player in college football? I don't know. I'm not saying Maziel shouldn't win the Heisman, or that Mariota should, because i don't know who i would vote for at this point. But i do know that Manziels offensive line gets no credit for anything really and you helped prove my point.

Games vs top 10 wins vs top 10. Lmao at team SEC wanting credit for losses to over rated teams

Don't be obtuse, it's a strength of competition argument that's being made there

The strength of competition argument only makes sense if you do well against good teams. You don't get points just for getting your ass kicked by good defenses.

It certainly matters when comparing stats, etc.

You know, like the majority of that chart

You have to believe in the rankings. I don't believe the 4-9 teams in the country are all SEC teams. Inflated rankings get them there and keep them there.

Another reason why polls shouldn't start until the end of week four.

I wonder why they didn't have that checklist against Mariota???

OH yeah. And they forgot the losses column.

meow!!!

Mariota trying to catch JFF in the loss column I guess. Hmm, Stanford D didn't look too impressive. Guess it was just ANY defense at all that slows down your boy :cool2:

And when talking about Manziel, which defense "kicked his ass"? A&M has lost their two games by a TOTAL of 8 points.
