I can't imagine what the Eagles could give up to get him. First off with so much of the off season already gone you are talking about Mariota being behind the curve on learning the offense and building a connection with his teammates. Then the whole draft pick trade thing becomes that much more complicated now that the draft is over. I just can't see this happening. Slow news day.

Considering the CBA has instituted a slotted pay plan for all draftees there can't be too much to negotiate. It must be a small matter, like who has to pay for the 1st case of Cheerios at TC.

Hope he signs, Hammer spent 2 g's in Marcus gear, plus he would have to repaint his hood, taking off the mural of Mariota's face off on his Trans Am

The article said is the offset if he should sign with another team In three years. Why should he have to give back any money if he goes elsewhere? That sounds like BS but it could be normal language.

I continue my stance of Mariota will bust. If you guys don't know why or what my stance is by this point given the 100 times I must've posted it the last 1-2 months, you must be a new user (or decided to take me off ignore).

Without reading let me guess...offset language? Or was that issue finally resolved?

I'm sure he'll be signed eventually. I don't think he will pan out though.

He'll sign and he's going to be a great NFL QB.

Looking at the slotting...both 1st and 3rd have signed so it's a matter of time....interesting Fowler got slightly more than Winston overall, but less guaranteed.

Didn't all teams just go through mini camp the past two weeks? So mariotta has missed his first camp.
