Thanks AJ, i didnt see him at all and assumed he wasn't there but was hoping he was. Sucks for him and not one expert/commentator has mentioned him that i have heard.

I know the rule for MLB is that if you're ever on the 25 man Major League roster that season, even if you get traded, cut, demoted, whatever, you get a ring. The NHL rule is either that or anyone on the roster at the start of the playoffs, so I'm not sure if he'll get his name on it or not.

I was wondering this same thing. I hope they find a way to get his name on the cup. This has to be killing him that he can't be celebrating with his team.

i bet he'll get on. whether he played a lot this year or not, he's just as much a part of the team as any other guy.

I just know that when the Pens won they requested Zigomanis' name be put on, and he only played a handful of regular season games, and didn't appear in the postseason. I do know you're on automatically if you appear in the Finals.
