Tremendous news!

Woah. Good news, too bad he may not have a place to fit now.
He's on a one way contract so I would imagine he might get an exemption for a conditioning stint with the Phantoms, then he can come up with the Flyers - I would keep him and give him every chance - like I said before, he played a significant amount two seasons ago and was very solid
I did like him in 2012. Hopefully he can regain his form. I'd still say the bottom pair spot is Gus vs Mez, with MAB on the outside looking in
Yeah I think that's what it would be but I would love for them to move Nicklas Grossmann - honestly, considering how Steve Downie has played lately(as much as I like him too), they might package them for something, or at least I'd consider that
If, and that's a big if, MAB can come back a play a steady D game, and if Downie can't improve his struggles of late, I'd be fine with moving then as a package. Those two together could certainly fetch a 1st
He certainly has a cannon shot that's reasonably accurate. The rest of his skills are either average - passing, nastiness, positioning, reach - or below average - skating.
He really needs to improve his skating/speed if he wants to be an NHL regular. He's REALLY slow. My memory (for what it's worth) remembers him being pretty mediocre for most of his time with the Flyers in...2012?, except for the last half dozen or so games of the season when he really seemed to start coming into his own.
Glad to see him healthy again, though. Welcome back, MAB.
