Sorry if this has been posted but I found this just a few minutes ago. Looks like if Peyton is willing to redo his contract then they might keep him in Indy.

If your boss came to you tomorrow and said, love to have you but we are going to decrease your salary by 15% and a competitor came and offered you a job at no decrease. Is that really a choice

but Peyton is coming off a serious injury, so its not as simple as that?

what if you were a construction laborer who's coming off knee surgery, your boss asks for a pay decrease because your production on the job site is now questionable?

this may not be the best illustration but point is your not the same before and after the pay cut request.
