They have been friends for a while. I think when BB coached at the Pro Bowl one year the two of them sat down and talked for a full day and ever since then they have spent time together. Not anything too surprising.

Don't take it as a bash. I have been a Pats fan since 1970, remember a lot of 1 and 2 win seasons. They were the doormats for the AFC until 1985 when your Bears took them behind the woodshed. I was actually in Chi-town selling Tshirts and SB gear that year and loved Cicero. We havent sniffed any success including 1997 SB vs GB ,until Brady took over for the injured Bledsoe. Keep in mind BB had a losing record as a headcoach until then. The Pats went 5-11 the year before and 0-2 when Bledsoe went down. Brady goes in( which I wasnt happy about) and they win 3 out of 4 SB's. No diss to Manning because he is one of the greatest and first ballet HOFer but happy with Brady. He just doesnt seem to get rattled and has the fire inside because of the chip(6th) round . No entitlement and knows he could lose his job, just like Bledsoe did, when he was healthy

Bill Belichik and his wife work out at my gym in Jupiter, Fl in the off season. Saw him in there last week. Same dude, frumpy old sweatshirt and sweat pants. I see them from time to time around town at a coffee shop or whatever. He basically has the same demeanor everywhere he goes, so what you see on the sideline is him.

Belichick and Brady have been pretty good even if the Patriots didn't make it to the SB this year.

It's inevitable that posters will jump to unfounded conclusions by the golf game between Belichick and Manning but I won't.

A game between people who've known each other for years is not predictive of anything.
