It looks like Scott Kazmire to the A's on a 2 yr deal.

The Jays are trying hard to trade Arencibia today, or they may just non-tender him tonight. The Sox were interested in Navarro, but I guess 2/$8mm was too much to pay a guy that had a career year last season.

Dodgers are trying to acquire Jim Johnson from the O's. He is projected to get over $10mm in arbitration.

That would be some pretty expensive set up men for Kenley Jansen, because Brandon Legue makes over $7mm.

Unless Mattingly lets the salary dictate who his closer is rather than talent. You know...like he did last year before realizing that League sucks and Jansen is one of the better closers in the league.

What? Nobody wants a catcher that can hit 20 homers a year?

I guess teams like guys that can get other types of hits, can take a walk, and, can actually play the catcher position well.......

I like the talent add, but NOT at that cost. And, as for League, while he is not all that tradeable of a player per se, at least he has a tradeable contract, so maybe they can find someone to take him, with the Dodgers paying a bunch of $$ to just make him go away?

If they can pull that off, I would be a happy camper.
