It was a spectacular year. . .

3rd string qb rescues NC for team by winning his first 3 starts - - - in the conference championship game, national semi-final game, and national championship game - having played no meaningful football in 3 years.

Then, even though he would have been the 3rd qb taken in the draft, decides to return to school to get his degree.

Not sure what more you could ask for, unless it was the team you root for instead of the team I root for, who has your old coach.
