that's in points, so any combo of 7 w/l between the two will get it done (in the 52 combined games left)
more important than Edm, is 20 w/l between Van and Min to clinch a playoffs (53 combined games left), and to clinch the division.

EDIT: It must of been updated after tonight's games, because I could of sworn the Sabres were in 8th place in the projected standings?

They look way worse than they usually do tonight against the Ducks. They've had 9 shots on goal all game - there is 10 to play in the 3rd.
