yeah, that's a puppet coach waiting to happen.
does that mean Todd Nelson (OK Thunder coach) is a natural?
makes some level of sense, but that team really needs a veteran presence.


I liked him in Chicago, but am really glad he's no longer next in line for a Vancouver position.

There's been some talk of the Oil Kings coach (Derek Lexdal) talking over the reins of the Oil. Brent Sutter talk has cooled considerably.

The Oilers should seriously look at Kurt Kleinendorst, former coach of the Binghamton Sens.

He is great with young players. He worked wonders with a lot of the young guys who were instrumental in Ottawa's turn around.

He basically turned, Z. Smith, Greening, Condra, Daugavins and O'Brien into NHL players while winning the Calder Cup in 2011.

But this is the Oilers and a hiring like that would require brain power and some research.

I expect Grant Fuhr to be brought in to coach the team in short order. Paul Coffey and Glenn Anderson will fill assistant roles.
