Not really gonna harp on it as it is a physical sport and weird shit happens in the moment with the ole reptile brain. With that being said, I am confused seeing people defend this.

Don't think this will be a trend from Jones, but you don't have to condone it? If someone did that to your elite players I have a feeling not a lot of you would be saying "attaboy" about it.

.....and imagine the penalty and fine that would be imposed on Burns had he done the EXACT same thing to Jones if the roles would have been reversed.

This is a nothing burger. It wasn't dirty it's football. Unfortunate it resulted in injury, but it's a violent sport played by violent men and people get injured.
