Payback for a brutal sack earlier.

Burns tried to twist himself away and did his own damage. Instead of carting him off, they let him lean on a trainer and hop, skip, jump off.

It was a "hold", if anything. No personal foul.

problem I would have with a holding penalty (even though it was a hold) is that you see a lot a defensive player cause a fumble then hold the fumbling player down so he cant retrieve the ball while his teammates go after the ball. That has never been called during a fumble. Which is a definite hold. So as far as a holding call. I am gonna say it is allowed. personal foul or something else. I will let you all battle over.

Nah not dirty. He was preventing him from going after the ball. The only twisting done was by Burns IMO.

This wasnt a Darnell Dockett/Ernest Graham situation.

I wouldn't. When the ball is fumbled the QB is viewed as just another player on the field, just as he is when he's running acting as a RB.

Looks slimy to me. If Mac was a defender a lot of people would be crying bloody murder compared to relatively modest criticism.

With that being said: Mac Jones has played fairly well this year. Disappointing to see this.
