Man, Penguins open the scoring on the PP, but Eberle and Nelson go bang-bang and it's 2-1 Isles.

Goal one they were chasing and goal two was an awful pinch and Johnson was left alone to stop a 2 on 1.

Islanders have a deceptive amount of depth, lots of skill on that team. I don't know if they are burnt out or what the story is but man Pittsburgh just looks checked out.

Constant stupid passes from the likes of Malkin, Letang, Kessel and Crosby in the offensive zone have been killing a lot of opportunities.

yep, thedddd is correct. most of us have been saying for the last few months this team was nothing more than a "one & done." And noting they've shown the first 2+ games has made anyone change their mind.

Yeah, I heard that too. Those two never had the greatest chemistry on the same line, and Pittsburgh’s had more success spreading their centers out to helm multiple scoring lines during 5-on-5.
