I'm so much more worried about that game after this week. I never gave Illinois much credit, and didn't see the game, but OSU seems to have turned a corner.

Do you think that the players that have returned have been a big part of the resurgence? I typically go to a Michigan game and watch a VT game, so I only catch parts of other games for the most part.

absolutely. left tackle Mike Adams and running back Boom Herron's return have made a HUGE difference

I agree with this. We should be able to land a big coach, but that still worries me, because then we will have another transitional season. Fickell is young, and clearly not ready, but he has a feather in his cap tonight. If he wins out, then keep him.

1.) God knows what Ohio State is going to be given from the NCAA. So it remains to be seen if a big time named head coach even wants to walk into that mess.

2.) Luke Fickell is winning with nothing. With all the off field issues, distractions, lack of depth and talent on the offensive side of the ball he is still winning football games and has tosu basically controlling their own destiny to win the conference (I am not sold on psu)

I love Luke but the guy even blew a timeout when they weren't ready for a two point conversion in the 4th quarter. It was an easy decision to go for two and it could have cost us if we didn't have that extra TO at the end of the game.

Luke's got potential. Maybe it 10 years when he's done coaching Akron or Kent.

No LoIC or FtM from the NCAA. postseason bans have never been handed out without either of these two things.

All players and coaches that were involved got theirs except for TP(who HAS been banned from OSU for at least 5 years).

they'll find out what the sanctions are pretty soon hopefully before the end of the bowl season. So, its completely logical to assume UNC could hire a coach for next year depending on the results of the hearing.
