Yeah the teams that get themselves in huge trouble are the ones that hand out huge signing bonuses to lower the 1st year cap hit and push the issues to future seasons.

Unless they both understand that there is a restructure in the deal from the get go....
Flacco knew his was in the plan and had no problem with it because he got another big payday with the signing bonus and GTD money....
I don't know a lot about the structure of these contracts but I have taken notice of this, the bonus and GTD money is the only thing that is sure, the rest is pie in the sky unless that player is a lasting star player he will never see the backend of these big contracts...
