Who said the kids couldn't play?...everyone knew their was talent on the field..the guy at the helm wasn't getting the most out of them.and the environment that they were in was completely dysfunctional..THAT was the issue..

WVU is building some depth. I took a look at who should be starters at each position next year based on class. Looks like an experienced team

LG – Sr

C – Sr.

RG – Sr if Matteo/ JR if Bosch

WLB – ??? (Anywhere from senior to freshman. But a host of guys to choose from)

We've had this discussion before, but Mike nails it. When Dana's WVU team started Big 12 play, it was forced to play a ton of freshmen on defense. And, behind those freshmen… often times… were more freshmen.

Bill had left the cupboard bare.

Thankfully, Dana has done a great job recruiting talented players who qualified for WVU… and have remained at WVU… unlike his predecessor.

Today…. when we see a Freshmen on the two deep… especially a starter… you know he is a special player. Dana has the program in a place where most freshmen are redshirted.
