Teams that would not trade their star imo...

Giannis
Curry
KD
Lebron (still put him on the list but with his age it's possible)
Harden
Westbrook
Paul George
Kawhi
Lillard
Simmons
Embiid
Towns
Doncic

Maybe you could add a couple other players depending on need of team, etc. (I didn't put AD on there bc obviously N.O. would trade him for #1 bc of the circumstance)
I think GS would trade KD in a nano-second for Zion. Get rid of a guy that doesn't want to be there for the next 15 years of greatness?

As of right now, I believe Memphis has an 85.8% chance of keeping their pick at either 1-4 or 7-8.
Dallas has a 37.2% chance of picking 1-4.
Unless we lose out and ATL wins out, Dallas pick isn't improving. Dallas NEVER gets love from the lotto, just look at the 90s drafts for proof.

No guarantees even with Zion. Also, KD is a free agent

KD is a top 2 player in the right now and is going for a 3 peat...no guarantees Zion will be great and not even likely he will ever be even close to how great KD. Plus KD is an elite perimeter shooter.

KD is a bitch, and had to join a team that won championships without him. Why can't people be honest about him, he can't lead his own team. Put him on NO and they have a worse record than AD does

Did he win?
By that metric the following players are/ were not leaders either: Westbrook, Ewing, Malone, Stockton, Barkley, Harden, Paul, Giannis, McGrady, Nash, etc

You were saying?

yet GS plays better without him. KD plays better when the ball goes through him, GS doesn't funnel through non-Steph.

Before anyone calls me out, I’ve officially transitioned from Barrett to Zion.

Ok, has nothing to do with him being traded for #1. Which isnt even possible anyway

And I guarantee they wouldnt have the last 2 championships without him. Houston took them to game 7. Without him Houston beats them pretty easily.

Point is they cant trade him anyway and they have the best offense of all-time with KD. Your point makes zero sense

The instant Zion gets drafted he will be the most valuable asset in the NBA hands down.

There are some players that are core pieces to contenders or burgeoning stars like Doncic who wouldn't be traded for him, but his combination of talent + rookie contract and team control make him immensely valuable.

There isn't a direct comp for him, but I am thinking a more athletic, better version combing the best attributes of Blake Griffin and Draymond Green.

That is a special player.

I'm not seeing much Dray in him. I see a shorter, stouter version of Blake.

Blake: 6'10, 251lb, 22.7 ppg on .654/.375/.590, 14.4 reb, 2.3 ast, 1.1 stl, 1.2 blk
Zion: 6'7, 285lb, 22.6 ppg on .680/.338/.640, 8.9 reb, 2.1 ast, 2.1 stl, 1.8 blk

He is a lot more dynamic than Blake.

I added Dray because I think he will be an elite defender and a good playmaker. Although Blake can make plays too.

I see very little chance he is not better than Blake Griffin, although offensively they might be very similar.

And one of the most marketable.

If these shoe companies don’t market that the other shoes explode under Zion, but not theirs, they are total morons.

I was a skeptic before he stepped on campus, but it’s clear he’s a super elite talent.

I’m not sure where I’d want him to end up. Maybe Phoenix would finally get their crap together

And saying shorter and stouter sounds like a dig.

He is shorter, but also stronger and significantly more explosive. And Blake was one of the most explosive players in the NBA early in his career.

The lottery will be interesting for sure. Probably the most coveted #1 pick since LeBron.

Ja Morant softens the blow for the team that gets 2, but a pretty big jump down to 3 and below. And I think Barrett will be a good player.

Zion and Morant though?

Superstar potential for sure.
