So, realignment this summer? Right? Columbus or Detroit coming to their rightful place in the East? *Please be Columbus*
Dreger still moaning on his Twitter account (the fool just doesn't get it):
It's interesting how an accurate account of what's going on in Wpg is perceived as a campaign to stop the NHL's return. Just silly.
Nope, that's not it at all, It's pretty clear your pissed because you got scooped by Stephen Brunt and you've been constantly downplaying the Jets chances of returning and trying to poke holes at Brunt's credibility.
At least we don't have to look far to determine who put the twit in Twitter (actually, I think it's a tie between you and Damian Cox).
True North has a press conference scheduled for noon ET today...Congrats Winnipeg!!
True North holding Noon et news conference on Thrashers
So... Lets place bets. Wheres Phoenix headed next season?
<Heavy Breathing>
This will be a day long remembered. It has seen the end of
Atlanta and it will soon see the end of the Coyotes.
</End Heavy Breathing>
no where
NHL will use the relocation fee to fund the Coyotes losses until they work out a deal with Hulsizer or anyone else
i say they have at least 2 more years in Glendale
I understand the lack of support in Phoenix and Atlanta. I believe teams need to return to the roots of where the game was discovered and played.
However i do feel bad for the true fans in each of those cities who embraced, supported and loved the game we all enjoy so much.
Nashville and TB seem to look pretty steady. We'll see how they are in a few years. But Florida has got to go... Between sucking ass and having horrible attendance AND HORRIBLE TV NUMBERS , I think they are next after Phoenix. After that, the NHL would/should be in pretty solid shape.
