I know.....just saying I kind of see where he's coming from. Kroenke just got crazy rich in 1 day but it took a lot leading up to this.

Oh hell yeah, he's been setting up for this day for a LONG time...Spent tons of money and lots of time to make sure it happened...

The combined wealth of him and his wife before this was something like 11 billion... all he did was add to it.

i am a troll because I pointed out a blatant fact that you ignored when you made a comment about a cities relation to its market strength?

yes detroit went bankrupt.. but a teams market is not just the city it plays in idiot.

Hold on there MV. If you post on this Rams board, calling someone names is prohibited per the SportsHoopla use policy. You are allowed to disagree with someone but personal name-calling is not permitted here. That's why you got the troll reply, not your response. Just so you know.

there is a reason why St Louis is not an NBA city anymore... and now not an NFL city... and its not because its a lucrative market.

Cards and Blues seem to do ok. the Cards have probably sold 3m tickets already. wonder why.. good owner that supports the city and puts a good product on the field. huh

do you not get the fact that the number of people in St Louis's market is much smaller than just about every other major sports city? what part of this are you not getting.. the reason they are moving is because LA's market dwarfs St louis's.. it increases the teams value... i get it fans are going to cry.. but when you have a tiny market this is what happens.. the cardinals can sell all the tickets they want.. the city obviously can't support all the major sports.. if it could. the NBA wouldn't have left too.

if you owned a team.. where would you want to be.. a market with 18 million people in it. .or a market with 5 million? it really isn't that hard of a concept to understand.
