As I predicted, Mark Davis is going to get a new stadium in Oakland and is going to stay there for a very long time. Moving the Raiders in with the Chargers would have killed a lot of the history and the AFC and changing things around would have really been a devastating blow to the NFL. Goodell was saving his ass by stepping in.

the nfl will help him pay for it because he backed out of the LA deal and to stay quiet. yet the 100m the STL stadium needed couldn't be saved and was a terribly plan. NFL at its best.

Once again, you have NO idea what you're talking about...The value matters. First, the value counts towards league power. Second, its an ASSET, the more value of an asset, the more loans you can take against it if you want (yes, these guys do take loans)...Third, because it's an asset, it counts towards your personal net worth...Get a clue dude, seriously...

yeah i get all that…. but like i said he doesn't get that 3b until he sells the team. taking out loans doesn't make you have more money… I would be rich. he has to invest 2.5 billion. he isn't going to make that back overnight.
