That is hardly the issue from Kroneke's perspective Cougie. Kroneke was all in when he purchased the land and he came to these owner meetings with the goal of getting what he wants because he knew he had Goodell by the balls with a threat of a lawsuit. Get this through your head Cougie. Kroneke is prepared to build this center and stadium entirely on his own. He is willing to spend his own personal fortune to get the Rams to LA and a few hundred million is no concern for him AT ALL!! Just like his buddy Jerry Jones, Kroneke is more than willing to drop 2.5 Bil and more to make this happen. It loves this shit because his gargantuan ego gets fed big time. You got to stop believing Sammie is the cat's meow dude. It is clouding your reasoning capabilities.

I'm not cool with Raiders-Chargers and one of them having to switch Conferences. They both have too much history in the AFC so I hope it's Rams-Chargers.

They don't want the Raiders in LA and I think the owners would much rather be teams in Inglewood then Carson based off the proposals. I expect it to be settled by 8 central

The Carson plan is all kinds of fucktarded the more I think about it.

this seems like a total panic lets get this over with decision. I have a feeling the Charger and Raiders are pissed. but I'm glad Spanos didn't give into Stan. now Stan has to come up with 2.5 billion on his own.

And you think that's a problem? Once he lays that out, the Rams will be worth over 3 billion. And he'll be raking in the bucks from his new complex...

I know absolutely nothing about the proposal so I can't really comment on that. Just know what I have heard today while listening to radio and seeing tweets

DJ, the Rams-only-at-first-with-a-second-team-addition-later option is the one that will get passed. Kroneke wants his Rams in his stadium/entertainment center for a couple of years while he lets his potential partners writhe in their misery for the same time period. The Raiders/Chargers option was never going to happen for many of the reasons you stated. Too complicated.

Raiders will receive additional loan money earmarked for a future stadium in their home market when this becomes official I'm told

Carson would be built on a landfill....that's not a good plan.

Probably the best idea. I think Oakland is fine for an NFL team and the team is actually getting better as well as their passionate fans. I hope they can get a new stadium out of this

I was going off Roggin's Tweet that it would be either Rams-Chargers or Raiders-Chargers.

Yeah.....if the Chargers end up here then I could see the Raiders when they travel down here. I'm cool with that.

As I predicted, Mark Davis is going to get a new stadium in Oakland and is going to stay there for a very long time. Moving the Raiders in with the Chargers would have killed a lot of the history and the AFC and changing things around would have really been a devastating blow to the NFL. Goodell was saving his ass by stepping in.

Bob Iger's existing option to buy into Raiders or Chargers tied solely to the Carson project so if that is dissolved, that disappears

It'll be nice to have the option to go to a game if I want. I'll even go to a Rams game since it'd be in my old stomping grounds and I like the Rams core. I thought they had a chance to go 7-9 or 8-8 this past season (before the season kicked off). I really like their defense and Gurley.

Yep, Bob Iger can go do something else. He was literally a sheepski among very large wolves.

So Stan just basically upped his personal wealth by over 2 billion dollars today alone. I'd say he had a pretty damn good day...
