do you not get the fact that the number of people in St Louis's market is much smaller than just about every other major sports city? what part of this are you not getting.. the reason they are moving is because LA's market dwarfs St louis's.. it increases the teams value... i get it fans are going to cry.. but when you have a tiny market this is what happens.. the cardinals can sell all the tickets they want.. the city obviously can't support all the major sports.. if it could. the NBA wouldn't have left too.

the NFL is a business.. and all the owners are partners... they want to be in the biggest markets possible. St Louis' market isn't a concern of there's. They are not putting teams out there for community service.. they are doing it to make money.

In the end.. putting 2 teams in LA so that they have football in that media market every week during the season... means the national TV contracts value will go up the next time they come up.. so all the owners win from this. Not just The Rams and Chargers. The fans of St Louis and San Diego get the shaft..
