1946, and Browns were incoming. Two teams surviving in Cleveland? Don't think so.
Let's just be happy we didn't get the Browns!

Yes he's pathetic. The things he said about St. Louis is unbelievable. Yes that's what he's doing burning all bridges to St. Louis so even if he does get rejected by the LA committee he will still be pushing the Fanbase away here so he can move a soon as he gets a chance. Rumors now if he doesn't get LA he will Build a stadium in Oakland. POS!!! Any normal person can see what he's doing and you know the other owners know exactly what he's doing the question is will the NFL have the integrity to do the right thing and stop him.
What made it 'the best lease in NFL history' was the fact that St Louis agreed to provide the Rams with a top tier NFL stadium. One which guaranteed that the stadium's amenities would be maintained in the top 25% of all NFL stadiums, something which the City of St Louis has reneged on since 2004.Took advantage of the best lease in NFL history in St. Louis

So much for taking advantage of the best lease in NFL history!
Where did you hear that? I hadn't heard of that rumor before. I still think he can get his dream of owning a team in LA if he does an ownership swap with Shad Khan (unlikely but it'd be a win-win scenario for both Khan and Kroenke). It'd probably be a lot easier to approve a move for the Jags than it will be for the Rams (it'd just be a nightmare to try to realign the divisions).

Forbes magazine take...
St. Louis Rams Fans Should Direct Blame Towards 1994 Lease And Not Stan Kroenke

It seems the three committees for the meeting do not see the St. Louis plan as viable. If so St. Louis is out of the running.
Cougie, do you make this crap up as you go? Why would Kroneke build a stadium in Oakland when he owns the land in LA and has already started construction whether the Rams play there or not. He is building an entertainment complex that may or may not be the new home of the Rams. Some of the stuff you float out there boggles the imagination. Geez, dude, chill.
Whoever you listened to on the radio is making this stuff as he or she goes. Good grief!
ESPN. That figures. They are notorious for slamming the Rams at every opportunity they perceive. You need to stop listening to that bunch of left wing goobers who wouldn't know objective sports reporting if is was diagrammed for them.
Oh yeah Stan is a great owner! he has done nothing wrong! Runs a great organization! It's a lame excuse though we have a new stadium ready to go? That he won't even look at.
