I wouldnt be at all against sitting Gore next week and getting him healthy for Baltimore with it being a short week and all. Same can be said for Mcdonald if hes not 100%.

The Niners should eat this team up. Their offense is the perfect patsy for the Niner defense. They can't throw, have a bush league QB, turn the ball over and run only slightly better than they throw. They'll be lucky to get 13 points.

I'd like to limit Gore whether he's gimp free or not... got to start thinking Long Term here.... maybe I'm getting too ahead but for a matchup against the cards, I wouldn't say Gore's play is a dire need unless they plan to get his rushing yards up so he can pass Perry.

Rather have him full speed vs the Ravens...

Damn, was hoping I'd get lucky and pick up the 49ers / Cards game living in So Cal... but then FOX LA stabs me in the heart by broadcasting GB / Tampa

Some interesting places have the 49ers game though, Cincinnati, Cleveland, Buffalo, Maryland.

Time for me to send an email to FOX LA and see if I can get them to show the regional game instead of the 40 point blowout the Packers are going to drop on Tampa as they roll over and die.

Even though this is somewhat of a "trap" game, I don't anticipate the 49ers losing focus against AZ. They've manhandled AZ the last couple years and I wouldn't think this game would be any different.

I hope Kolb plays and we beat them soundly. There's something about 1-7 as a starter that is appealing to me. 1-6 just isn't bad enough. We need him to play before he plays St. Louis or Seattle.

He's doubtful still, and they are saying he may even have ligament damage in his toe.

I trust the 49ers will just duplicate their Megatron gameplan for Fitzgerald. Contain him, and it's an easy victory. Should be even easier because Detroit had a lot of other weapons with a hot QB... while the Cardinals pretty much just have Fitz and a not so good QB.

Yeah. The only other game I got this year was week 2 against the Cowboys. Also got the Giants game last week, but I think most people around the country got that one.

Division games always make me nervous. Since the Montana days you could throw out the records, because the Falcons, Saints, and Rams would somehow find a way to upset the Niners.

I think Spencer's done a pretty decent job vs. Fitz, but he doesn't seem to be active on game days lately. Does it even matter who covers Fitz in this game?

Big key to me is don't throw a pick 6 to Peterson or let him return a kick for a TD.

Keep those big plays away, and grind them down. Ginn should get a lot more chances to return punts in this one.
