The Lady Longhorn basketball team lost to #7WVU in the semifinals of the Big 12 Tourney. They have shown great improvement over last year's squad.
UT is beginning a study to evaluate the closing of the south end of Memorial Stadium. I wonder where they will put the new Godzillatrons. Use of the plural intention.

2 more Longhorns have said that their Longhorn career is over. WR Bryant Jackson is taking a Medical Scholarship after not playing last season with a foot injury. LB Aaron Benson has decided to graduate and get on with life.
Jackson had 9 catches for 171 yards and Benson never had more than one tackle in a game as a reserve.

The basketball added an unexpected player, 6'9" 285# Shaquille Cleare. He's a transfer sophomore center from Maryland. He will sit out the 2014-15 season.

Longhorns beat lil' brother 8-1 in Houston in the first game of the Rice Baseball regional. Brooks Marlow hit a leadoff homer which was followed by Mark Payton's single which scored Ben Johnson giving Texas a 2-0 lead in the bottom of the First. By the end of the 3rd it was Texas 7-1. Texas outhit lil' brother 11-7 and had no errors while 'they' had 3.

well, I guess after the better than expected year last year, and the addition of Myles Turner, he has a shot to have a pretty good year.
