Yeah, hi-rise hi-living. One's the Austonian, not sure which other one, are a couple new ones. There's one gal lives up at the top of one, has two Great Danes, see them at Ladybird lake sometimes with my dogs.

And yeah, I wish I was younger too.

Very quietly Barnes has got the Men's Basketball undefeated at 4-0. Yep, they haven't beat any teams of note, but that wasn't the case last year.

The new Women's Basketball Coach has signed a Top 10 class. They include 2 ladies from Duncanville Ariel Akins, #1 shooting guard, #4 overall player in the nation and Tasia Foremen #24 guard. Diani Akigbogun Gatorade Colorado POTY and Brooke McCarty #6 guard in the nation and #24 overall.

The #1 ranked Lady Longhorn Volleyball Team is hosting a sub-regional on Thursday and will face Texas State. The other pairing has UTSA and the gaggies.
It would be nice to have an all UT match in the finals.

Texas men play Vanderbilt on Espn2 tonight at 8. They are 6-1 I believe. Not sure about Vandy, but I imagine they are pretty good.

Surprise! Texas beats Vandy at home 70-64 and Texas is now 7-1. SeeBS's RPI has Texas at #35, Vandy is now #119 with a record of 4-3.

The Lady Longhorn Volleyball team beat unranked American 3-1 on Friday. American had been on a tear beating Georgia 3-0 and Duke 3-1 to reach the match with Texas.

Next up #8 Nebraska. Slight advantage goes to Nebraska as the match will be in Lincoln, Sat night. Neb. has gotten there by beating Fairfield, Oregon and San Diego, all by 3-0.

The #1 Lady Longhorns took down former Big 12 foe Nebraska 3-0 on Sat night and are now in the Final Four of Volleyball. Next up is #12 Wisconsin.

The game was closer than the final score as the Longhorns won 25-19, 25-22 and 25-23. Home court advantage didn't help the Huskers enough as the kept them at bay.

Bummer, the Lady Longhorns lost their semifinal Volleyball match with Wisconsin 3-1 last night. Penn State beat Washington 3-0 to advance to the all-Big Ten Finals.

Going to the Texas/Mich State basketball game tomorrow. Horns just beat North Carolina and are 10-1. I think they have a chance to win this game! Hook'em.
