History books have an asterisk. Plus some people like claiming that. So I figured I would just put both.
I'll bet your all for Bowden and the win record.

I think we're in the middle of it. 10 straight years of .500 or better, never even came close before that.

Thank you Spurrier...

FSU. 1977 to present. Unless you want to include the forfeited games. Then 29 years.

I get why teams have to retroactively forfeit games, but it's so dumb. Everyone knows the actual game result and realistically it changes nothing but some numbers few people care about.

History books have an asterisk. Plus some people like claiming that. So I figured I would just put both.

Trying to revise history is stupid and meaningless. Perhaps if they had uniform standards as to when games are vacated or forfeit that were applied evenly and consistently but they can't even manage that.

Longest for USC Non-Losing was 21 Seasons from 1962-1982. (I believe they were all winning seasons even). Current is at 13 but that includes at least 1 .500 season.

I don't argue it. I just give both answers so all the bases are covered. Agree with your point though.

Well we did win 47 games in a row.

Granted this was a D III accomplishment but your teams 47 game winning streak is no longer the longest in NCAA history. Tiny Mount Union had winning streaks of 54 & 55 games.

I think they've played in 28 DIII National Championship Games in the last 30 years. 28 out of 30, how do they decide when to bump up to DII?

If I'm the rest of DIII I bump them up without their permission

They have not played in 28 out of 30 title games, but it has been a lot since 1993. The only I thing have heard about them is they do not offer athletic scholarships. Maybe if they move up a division that wouldn't be possible? I really don't know though.
