If it was any other team besides the gNats that called Peralta out, then I would have no problem with it. Being that Peralta pitched for Washington just 2 years ago, he had to be doing the pine tar trick in D.C. just like he was still doing it in Tampa. I guess since the gNats were on the winning side of the deal 2 years ago, they didn't have a problem with him cheating.

This^. I would have called his ass out too (but wouldn't have expected him to be dumb enough to do it). The Nats are in first in a pretty tough division and want to hold onto it anyway they can, thankfully they lost anyway.
