werent you the one who started the LOL at the Rams when we traded for Ramsey?

I mean.. your last 3 late first round picks were sorry. Which is probably why you traded those 1sts for Adams right?

btw do you all need anymore of our coaching staff? That’s funny

Six players -- defensive tackle Aaron Donald ($27.89 million), cornerback Jalen Ramsey ($22.5 million), Stafford ($20.0 million), receiver Cooper Kupp ($14.5 million), receiver Robert Woods ($13.86 million) and left tackle Andrew Whitworth ($11.17 million) -- amount to nearly $110 million of the 2021 cap.

198 or 175....either way, shit gets real interesting with each team injury

philly way of kicking the can down the road looks to be the only option

I thought it was a great trade for the Rams I believe if you have a super bowl caliber team using your picks to acquire great talent is a viable option. When you are trying to win a super bowl you don't have time to wait for some rookie to pan into a great player (If that happens) and the odds of landing a QB better than Stafford maybe even Goff with those picks is so low its not even worth picking. There is all this value in 1st round picks or picks in general but of the 250 players that get drafted maybe 20% are pro bowlers? so anywhere from 20-25 players are actually great players I think spending picks on a sure thing is worth it.

The picks the rams gave up for Ramsey was worth it. Now they have 2 of the best players in their position on defense nobody is immortal at some point they will drop off they don't have time to wait for rookies to pan out or Goff to figure it out the time is now or never.

Yeah, I think McVay is gonna have some buyer's remorse, the grass isn't always greener. Should have just let Goff pipe his GF.

Season before Rams traded for Ramsey they won their division and went on to the superbowl, since trading for him they have missed the playoffs the following season, then squeaked in as a wildcard. So were the better without him? Looks like it if you go by the results.

On one hand you have to hand it to McVay on developing Goff to the point that he was worth an enormous contract.

On the other hand it is a big black mark on McVay that he wasn't smart enough to tell his FO that Goff wasnt worth the deal they were about to hand him.

Either way they are moving on. Just have to do it without a bunch of 1st round picks. But that isn't as big of a deal that people think it is. Most 1st round picks aren't worthy of the pick they are drafted with anyways.

Wouldn't Cousins have been a cheaper option, with the same amount of talent?

You know, this is the first time I've seen people trying to devalue picks that will happen within the first 32 picks of an NFL draft. People need to put down Madden 21 controllers and realize in 2022, that first round pick will be worth a 2022 first round pick. Just like how you thought last year a "2021 first round pick" had less value because it's a pick for a future draft. It will be a higher pick, but it's likely to be a top 30 pick, none the less.

1st round picks only guarantee bigger contracts, as a Lions fan you should know that.

But it is the Detroit Lions... history has told us that they are likely to draft their next hot dog vendor at Ford Field before anyone else in the first round.
What's up, D-Fan?

1 player is never the difference maker when you have 22 starters.

Average pocket passers, you aren't the brightest lightbulb.
Are you saying that they aren't pocket passers or they aren't average?

Stafford is 4th all time with in comebacks with 31, Cousins has 11 comebacks. That is not close, that is guy with the nickname captain clutch, who only had a top 10 defense once in his career, and shitty inconsistent running game, not to mention bad head coaches.
