Ya probably
Sorry for being an anal petty asshole about a tiny grammar/spelling error, it's just that a couple people do it to me to try to prove I'm not smart, yet I've probably caught 80% of those supposed 13 posters ripping on me making grammar/spelling errors, too. The 20% that I haven't, are the ones who have only posted once or 2-3 times, maybe? I rarely call anyone on it, as I think it's lame as hell. I don't expect people to work on their posts as if they are a college paper that will be graded. All I look for/care about is the content, the substance of what they are trying to say. We're all fallible.

He's not an Oregon fan, dumbass.

Yeah that fool thinks I'm an Oregon fan because I've said multiple time the Ducks have won a CBB national title. I guess that makes me a Wisconsin fan too since I've said they also have won a CBB national title. He's such a clown.

When was the last time Oregon won a Natl Title?

Yeah, that's what I thought.

You sure talk alotta trash for a fan of team that hasn't won a CFB national title in 61 years. Stop pretending Minnesota football is relevant.

The New Stadium, New Coach and New Practice Facility all demonstrate a New Attitude among the Admin, compared to their attitude from the late 50s into the early 90s where they cared very little about investing in football, and then follow that changed attitude and all that monetary investment with an 11-2 season that shows that New Coach might be all people thought he could be after what he did at WMU, and I don't think you can pass off Minnesota as irrelevant anymore, and even before Fleck, Mason was even able to make teams like #2 PSU, #5 OSU and whatever Michigan was ranked when we got like a 3 td lead on them before he amazingly blew it, feel UMn was relevant. And PSU in 2019 got a 2nd dose of UMn being relevant, and our last 4 bowl game opponents felt we were relevant, too, at least AFTER the games as we won all 4 of them. We had OSU on their heels for most of 3 quarters in our last game, and flip one play from negative to positive and the result of that game might not have been as favorable for OSU. Your new coach hasn't proven anything yet, cept that he can win the non-important games with Urban's players. Give him a few years and OSU may slip down below PSU and/or MSU or maybe even Michigan? One never knows?

No, I don't think you are an Oregon fan, I just said that you were one of the people I had in mind when I was speaking negatively about Oregon fans as you were pimping for them and their inferior 1939 cbb team that lost a bunch of games and then beat some other losers who lost even more games and act like the NCAA's declaring their tourney THE Natl Title Tourney makes it so, when the vast majority of the cbb fans and the press of the time considered the NIT to be the National Title Tourney.

The new stadium, new practice facility and new attitude have nothing to do with the fact Minnesota football isn't as good as you think they are. And the numbers prove it.

That 11-2 season in 2019 means very little. That was the first time since '03 the Gophers won double digit games in a season. Minnesota's been playing football since 1892 and they only have two seasons total of at least 10 wins.

Ohio State, Penn State >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Minnesota (and it's not even that close). Hell even meeeechegan's more relevant in CFB than your team right now and they've been struggling lately.

There is no "we". You didn't go to Minnesota. You're not a Gopher.

Looking a little closer as Minnesota's football history the last time your team had back to back winning seasons was '13 & '14 (8-5 both seasons).

And here are some of the times the Gophers put together back to back winning seasons. It's not many.

-'18 & '19 (7-6, 11-2)

-already mentioned '13 & '14

-'04 & '05 (7-5 both seasons)

-'02 & '03 (8-5, 10-3)

-'89 & '90 (6-5 both seasons)

-'75, '76 & '77 (6-5, 6-5, 7-5)

See a pattern here? You're team isn't elite like you think. The last time your team was a powerhouse in football was the 1930's. Wake up and see the mediocrity instead of pretending they're better than they really are.

And I'm not talking about shit about your team right now. I'm going but what the numbers say. But you'll say something silly I'm sure like all the stats I just listed are invalid.

I caught you lying again. For a fella that says he doesn't lie I catch you in multiple lies daily.

I said "some". I was not specific regarding who those "some" were. And I was including Mr OSU who was being a temporary Oregon fan because it gave him a vehicle with which to give me a hard time.

So yesterday you called me an Oregon fan. And now you're trying to claim you didn't call me an Oregon fan.

So that 11-2 season under a new coach in just his 3rd season isn't relative because what didn't happen under previous coaches even decades earlier who are no longer coaching at Minnesota is relavent somehow? lol. You are a pathetic loser.

Damn, you are really dumb.

There are only 28 Universities in the country with a larger Endowment than Minnesota, as of 2018. lol.

exactly, and you try to make it sound like Minnesota is a top university.

And since this is a cfb thread, what has Notre Dame produced in the way of Cfb coaches? Weiss(twice fired), Mike Hayward, fired by Pitt and spurned by Tulane, and Dick Coury? lol

so your idea of success is that when one of your coaches does a good job, he leaves. That sounds like a sign of failure for the program. Why wouldn’t the good coaches want to stay. Face it, they get out of Minnesota as quickly as they can. What you see as a positive is actually a sign of how poorly the coaches there see the program. At the most, it is a stepping stone to a better program.

Fleck's year by year coaching record.

2017: 5-7 (losing record)

2018: 7-6 (barely a winning record)

2019: one good season

2020: 3-4 (losing record)

2021: 3-2 (not all that good)

That's 29-21 (.580). Yep, Minnesota's great.

One of your comments from yesterday clearly says you called me an Oregon fan. Then today you're trying to claim you never called me an Oregon fan.

And you're calling me a liar? Like I've said before, there's something wrong with you.

29th out of what? 2500 or so schools? lol That's close to the top 1%.

And they are 16th in Research Funding dude. 16th, that's public and private combined. NDm isn't even among the Top 100, lol.

Only one public University has more Nobel Laureates associated with them, with 30, Notre Dumb has what, 1 or 2 maybe?
