3rd game in a row as the starting CF...cholly finally got his boy a starting job! after hitting his 2 singles yesterday, he comes up in the 6th inning when the 1st 2 guys in front of him make outs on 2 or 3 pitches and washington rookie pitcher Roark, appearing in only his 2nd major league game, falls behind on a 2-0 count. lee, who just sat down after pitching the bottom of the 5th is hoping to get a little more rest...so the obvious thing for martinez to do would be to take a strike...but no, he swings at ball 3 and hits a weak popup. i think mayberry blows big time, but i'd rather see him over this fucking creep.
