Good GM's kick the can down the road "with a plan" ... they know what year's guys come off the books and what years you can allocate money to, redo a contract, change contract wording to roster bonuses etc ... etc ... This past season was a prime example, it was the year where everything was finally going to catch up to the Eagles! At least that's what fans of other teams were claiming ... yet here we are, with a fairly loaded Super Bowl contending squad ready to go .... and btw, we still have cap room. Matter of fact, this year's team, at least on paper, is healthier and better than last year's version of the Eagles. Fans of other team's seem to have a fetish about seeing the Cap bite us in the arse ... yet that time never seems to come. Always fun to see them waste their time
