Lol, if Michigan were a company, somebody would be buying it at the fire sale for asset stripping. No profits, but plenty of rich assets.

these statistics tell me that Michigan and Texas fans are really getting hosed at the ticket office.:laugh3:

Perhaps, but at least 3 things are guaranteed in life in Austin:

1. Death
2. Taxes
3. Owning Big Red

Oh look Uncle Phil's wallet is worth more than the rest of the Pac.

FIFY

Plus that's a year old before you add Washington now having the best college football facilities west of the rockies.

With all due respect, you are the one who has got his priorities wrong. Remember, once upon a time this was considered a SPORT? You know, hard work, dedication, and may the best team win, all that obsolete stuff. Now, it's the best team money can buy.

I like being a Boise St. fan, we have a budget smaller than almost everyone, and God, does it feel good when we come into some gigantic stadium and kick some millionaire butt. Peace.

Never said I was happy about it or liked it. I hate what sports has become... boosters paying a kid a quarter of a mill to come play for your school. It's all about money and winning. That's why I care nothing for national championships. That trophy means nothing to me. If you had a good season, then great.. leave it at that. For that matter, I hate that we're doing playoffs.

Georgia Tech made the top 30. We're still only worth about 1/3 of our in state "rival" though.

(I put rival in quotes because for the last 10 years, we haven't been rivals. In order for it to be a rivalry, both teams must win significant numbers of games...and we haven't.)

I laughed at the ND and BYU comment. I know it is because it calls out "major conference", but at first read it came across as "major college football programs, plus ND and BYU"

:pound:

Did you read the bottom right? Excludes Wake Forest. Where is the Wake Forest outrage!!!

Of the first eight teams, only one, won their bowl game.
