I hated the signing from day 1.

He was part of the year 1 dumpster diving free agent campaign by Rivera.

I would disagree he was an inexpensive signing that put up 72 catches his first year. Resigned him to a much bigger contract. Dirty hit took him in year two not the same guy in year 3. 55 catches last year .... meh

Cost little to cut him, it was the right move.
