Some people are taking Tom Brady’s words to heart.

The New England Patriots quarterback recently has been caught by TV cameras swearing up a storm on the sidelines. Most notably, Brady’s tantrum in a recent game against the Green Bay Packers drew complaints after the quarterback repeatedly launched F-bombs for all viewers to see.
Brady was asked about his in-game swearing, and he explained that NFL players aren’t “choirboys,” adding viewers should “blame CBS and NBC for putting it on TV.”
Well, a few people have — three people, to be exact.
The Smoking Gun reported Tuesday that there have been three instances of viewers complaining to the FCC, unhappy that networks have shown video of Brady swearing during telecasts. The videos have been muted, so viewers can’t hear what Brady is saying, but even novice lip readers can make out the unpleasant words.
“My 8-year-old grandson was watching the game with me and even commented that he should not have said that,” a grandparent complained to the FCC, according to The Smoking Gun. “I understand the first time it happened that the camera man would not have expected that, but to keep the camera on Tom Brady as he kept yelling was uncalled for.”
Another complainer added:
“They clearly knew he was saying it and so did my 10-year-old son. … It was almost as if the announcers got away with it, because they didn’t actually say it. Very unprofessional.”
There’s no word as to whether the FCC will do anything about the complaints. Chances are, they probably won’t, because all but those three people can agree that just about everyone has better things to do with their time.

Fuck Tom Brady. Fuck the FCC. And fuck TV viewers who are offended to see someone's lips form curse words.

Seriously, though, if the league wants to cultivate a wholesome image, it does make sense to not show players yelling.

You can show them once because well let's be honest you can't predict anything what players will say when they are put on film but to remain on said player and continue to go back to that player is a little over the top

They knew what they were doing. Controversy creates ratings.

The bottom line is yes, Brady should absolutely be fined but everyone is in Kraft's pocket so deep that we know it ain't gonna happen. Talking about the Pats being held accountable for misconduct is a complete waste of time.

I saw Rex drop the F bomb when Titans were lateraling the ball downfield as time expired and made it to the 10 yard line. What is the # to call please

I called the FCC and complained about them airing Jay Cutler's vulgar quarterback skills last night. They agreed. So from now on, they are gonna blur Cutler any time the Bears play.

Whether Brady wants it or not he is a role model. I know that has been said about most athletes. You throw tantrums and all fans who are kids will throw tantrums.

In the end though most kids will never be NFL QB's and I would be more pissed if he was not angry when he plays bad or the team plays bad.

Not a fan of Tom Brady but he's far from tbe first athlete this has happened to. Mike Rupp dropped an F bomb that was broadcast live during a devils game because they were by the mic. He is right they are t choir boys and this does happen often. This isn't even close to the first time I've seen this. He could have handled it better though.

So he knew exactly when the camera was on him and for how long, so he knew to hold his swearing till then?

How many times during a live game have you heard on the field players swearing while watching it on tv, does that mean that player should be fined too?
