Quote of the article
Beck said Nebraska's offensive players may have suffered from “overcoaching” in practice.
if your gonna make a stupid excuse make it funny or good.
I read that article sums up my fears we will never be better 10-4 or 9-4. this is all bo players beck been running the office since 2011...he's becoming Watson like in play calling and offensive game plan.
this is why Gus Malzahn is a genius. simple play book simple plays if it works keep running it use your offense biggest players.
even Oregon keeps it simple and safe. meanwhile 3rd and 1 let's go deep. or 4 and 1 long stretch option when you have a big back name cross or clutch rb with AA.
still want to know what happen with our lb coach. ..or lbs
Bet you thought he was a genius when he called for a deep pass on 3rd and long, pinned back on the goal line in the bowl game last year.
C'mon Tom, You know there's a big difference in throwing the bomb on 3rd and long deep in your own territory, and throwing a bomb on 3rd and 2 from mid-field.
What's the worst that can happen on 3rd and long when deep in your own territory? Incomplete and you punt, or an interception that is equivalent to a punt.
The bomb to Enunwa was more luck than anything. It was blown coverage.

A holding penalty while the QB is in the end zone is not good!
Sacks aren't ideal either
I won't argue the rest of your post. You are pretty much spot on with your statement. But will respectfully disagree on the bolded. Yes it was a blown coverage. But I offer that the coverage was blown because it was an excellent call and the defense, and the defensive coordinator, was not expecting it and was caught off guard.
The same guy made that call as the calls in the last game.
Tom, are you trying to say that Beck can do better than he did last week?
