2008 he could only muster a 9-7 record and 10-6 in 2009 with Kurt Warner at QB. Warner left after the 2009 season. I think the reason he lasted as long as he did in AZ and got the head job in TN was because of him reaching the Super Bowl in 2008.

This. Making the Super Bowl bought him quite a bit of leeway.

38-10 loss at home to a Miami team that just fired its head coach.

Whisenhunt is awful

Kinda like Wade Phillips, Mike Singletary, Hue Jackson, Leslie Frazier and mounds of others that have and still are being given a shot.....
They all know football well enough to succeed at the job given the right players, coaches, scouts, GM etc...
You get my drift ?......It takes a lot more than a good HC to develop a winning formula and build a winning team...
I'm sure given the right staff and enough time, he can accomplish that, but this is a microwave world we're in today and not everyone gets 14 yrs to never win a playoff game and a new contract extension like Marvin Lewis ....Figure that one out will ya ?????:scratch::scratch::scratch:
