The last time the Celtics made it to finals was 2009 and that was 11 years ago and they lost and cried like babies. Since then they have been irrelevant, back in 2015 when this thread was created they were years removed from their title struggles and no closer not to mention they only that the one title since 1986 which is 34 years. i do believe the Lakers have 5 just since 2000 and another in 1988... Brown and Hayward are not "superstars". They aren't even all stars right now. And who is Walker?

All of them.

Tatum will likely be a superstar. But he's not there yet, but he's definitely headed in that direction and will be sooner rather than later.

Hayward is an all star level talent, but he's not a superstar.

Brown looks like a fringe all star at best. Most likely, he'll be a valuable role player.

I don't see Kemba as a true superstar, but he's better than an all star, imo. He's probably "superstar adjacent" (some may even think that's too generous). He's also been in the league for 8 years, so it's unlikely that he'll hit true superstar status.

The Celtics are good, really good. I could see them coming out of the East, but I think a lot would have to go right for them to beat the top teams in the West.
