I'm a big Rory fan but you have to ask the question ..is the World Golf Rankings still a legitimate ranking system?
Would Rory be #1 had Cam Smith not gone over to LIV?

This war has undermined everything. The PGA Tour and it's friends in the Media decided to go scorched earth as the response to LIV Golf.
That approach has been a miserable failure. In my eyes the PGA Tour's choice to ban players is and was the cause of it all.

I hate the fact that Rory took the lead and is doing all the heavy lifting for that asshole Jay Monahan.
Rory could have been the Bridge to both sides in this but decided to burn bridges instead.

Yea, I really wish Rory would just shut up and stop making things worse.

I don't get banning the players either. They didn't need to do that. There's really no comparison between the tours. LIV to the PGA is the XFL to the NFL product wise. The Saudi's will get bored eventually and move on to the next thing they can throw their money at. We'll see Cam Smith and a couple others reinstated to the PGA tour. The bulk of the LIV players will just be put out to pasture where they belong.

I'm not sure what you think the PGA tour is getting that it deserves, but the tour is more competitive and exciting than it's ever been in my opinion. So much fantastic young talent.
