We have a brutal schedule this year. Open with 3 of 4 games on the road, with the home game being against the Broncos.

If we can go 2-2 to start the year -- I think we could get to 10 or even 11 wins. If they don't -- they are in some trouble. I wouldn't be completely shocked if they were 1-3 though, as road wins are tough and Denver is always tough. After weeks 1 and 2 on the road against SD and Minny -- the next 3 road games are at places that are extremely tough win at -- Seattle, KC and GB.

Agree with almost all of this. KC game is in London though.

Lions start 2-3 and manage 9-7. Just as easily could be 7-9 or 11-5 depending how the ball bounces.

I've just got done with my league draft, and only a couple of Corona's. Couple more and that may even be more lopsided. Harder schedule, but a relatively stable team. Just don't see the Lions as regressing or progressing much, so I'm expecting similar results.

Way to play it safe guys.

Are we supposed to make honest predictions or are we supposed to make homer predictions?

As a Lions fan -- I'm with Broncosmitty -- 19-0. Lions become 2nd team to go undefeated and win the Super Bowl.

As a football fan -- as much as I hate to say it -- Detroit could be in serious trouble. They have an absolutely brutal schedule, though I liked hearing the KC game was in London and not in KC.

They could start the season 3-5 or 2-6 and I wouldn't be surprised. Not that I don't think Detroit has a really good team, but they have a really tough schedule and will need to stay healthy and have some bounces go their way.

On a side note -- If Detroit had Miami's schedule -- I would predict 12-4 with a bare minimum of 11 wins and a possibility of 13-3.

Some times the schedule is kind -- sometimes the schedule is brutal. Then again -- we thought last year's was brutal and by the end, it wasn't that tough with injuries and how some teams weren't as good as many thought they'd be.

I really gotcha the first time. I was not sure if this overdose of college ball had me seeing shit.
Still feel the record is 10-6. I could see the AZ game and the Minny game on the road going either way.

I am waffling between 9-7 and 10-6 too. Have us losing both STL and NO. Starting to think maybe we win one of those now. Can I do 9.5 and 6.5?
