According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, multiple teams believe LSU OL La'El Collins won't be drafted.

Collins, a first-round talent, is being questioned following the shooting death of a pregnant woman named Brittney Mills in Baton Rouge. He's not believed to be a suspect, but police want to talk to him to see if he can provide any information. Authorities believe Collins is the former girlfriend of Mills.

Wow. I think they're bullshitting him in hopes that Collins will fall to them. There's zero reason that he shouldn't be drafted at all simply because a girl he used to date got murdered and the police want to know what he can tell them about her...

ESPN NFL Insider Jon Gruden says Michigan State RB Jeremy Langford "is a guy I really like" and adds "I don't understand why we don't hear his name more."

"He ran a 4.4. He gained 100 or more yards in every Big Ten film I watched. He breaks tackles, he picks up blitzes and he looks like an NFL back for sure," Gruden said. "He is tough, he can catch, he has home run speed and I love the way they train guys at Michigan State." The 6-foot, 206-pounder collected 1,522 rushing yards and 22 touchdowns on 230 carries last season. Langford "can fit in any scheme, but he might be best in a traditional power running game," according to ESPN's Todd McShay.

Hell yeah! I like Langford. He'd be my #5 choice at RB, right there with Jay Ajayi and behind Gurley, Gordon, Da. Johnson, and Coleman...

Who is "they"? I think it all depends on which source you read, because I've read that he has good vision setting up his running lanes, but likes to bounce it to the outside far too often, missing quality cut-back lanes in the process...

I have no doubt that there are teams who have removed him completely from their boards. We might even be one of them. Hernandez wasn't believed to be a suspect either at first. Would take some serious balls to spend an early round pick unless the local authorities actual clear his name completely.

You know we have a couple of nutless unicks running the team and a self righteous do gooder for a coach so Collins won't be on the Lions

The difference here is that Hernandez had a long history of general thuggery, and was already implicated in a shooting before he was charged in these more recent cases...

I'll stick with a previous assumption that should all of the following players be drafted prior to our pick; Peat, Flowers, Scherff, Shelton, Waynes, Brown, Gurley (obviously any other top 15 players)
