SHEEP!!!!!!! Hahahahaha. There's nothing quite like a freshly shorn quadraped. (I woke up this morning and actually thought I was high. Took a second to realize I was sober as all get out. When I start dreaming bout smoking, it's a sign I need to fall off the wagon)

To be fair gandy dancer moore was competing against jerry rice the best receiver ever and possibly the best player of all time every year while CJ competes against no one remotely close. If herman moore played in the 2000s he very well could have been the best receiver in the game. Also I'm thinking he had a better year than rice the year he hauled in 123 passes.

I usually don't get involved in these best ever arguments because they're too much like trying to stroke a limp noodle. But I'd like to point out that until Stafford played a whole season, CJ wasn't considered the best wideout in the game today. People would argue Fitz or Andre. Now, all but the special people concede that title to him readily. So I find it hard to argue that Rice would be hailed as the GOAT if he had been drafted by dumb and dumber as CJ was.

And at least we got rid of dumber.

In alphabetical order:

Johnson - most physically gifted WR ever, not a diva, plays hurt
Karras - the face of the Lions after Bobby was traded
Layne - quarterbacked the last Lions championship
Sanders - the most electrifying running back since Gayle Sayers

The Lions had many very good players between Karras and Layne, and Johnson and Sanders, but none quite at their level.

Limp and wet is even harder. Well, not actually harder, but more difficult.

I've never even seen a highlight of Websters dad playing football. One of the reasons I left him off my Mountain. But he cracked me up on TV and with his writing. Bobby Layne got the nod due to smoking in the huddle. And we owe Honalulu Blue to Doak, that's monumental.
