Blalock left without accepting the Lions offer. Wilfork would never play here. The Lions will settle for whoever wants to play here it seems.

There is always a reunion with Stephen Peterman possibility? Fortify our O-line

I wrote an entire thread on CBS about how shitty Peterman was and got bashed for it.

Peterman was not great but also not terrible until the foot injury. He was useless after that.

I could go with you if you said good instead of great. Never really liked him, but there is some truth to the downfall after his injury. The Petermans of the world was what they could afford at the time.

Exactly.

Peterman was never a top-ten guard, but for a few seasons he was very good in pass-pro, and we threw the ball 47,000 times a year during that span, so he was a good fit.

Much like with Rob Sims, Peterman went from being a serviceable, perfectly acceptable starter, to a below-average starter in a pretty short time-span. He had an ok run with us capped by a horrible final season...

Your honor I give you RollingThndr's first exhibit.

How are you guys still using the emoticons from old server? Because having that guy bolting from the room would have been good after that statement.

Why is Stephen Peterman being discussed on this board?

He and Rob Sims couldn't hold their blocks on the fucking blocking sled they sucked so bad.

I'd rather sign Donnie Avery and play him at G than have Sims back and look how quickly Peterman was out of the league completely once he was no longer a starter for the Lions.

Right now this o-line is in shambles and needs to be addressed. I stand by my thoughts on a different thread to sign W and Long to shorter term deals.
