So the Patriots are having a great draft but the Lions who keep taking guys the Pats want are not.

Lions have not taken anyone the Pats wanted. Maybe Hockenson but the Pats were not going to spend an early 1st round pick on him.

Yup, same for the Steelers. The fact that the 2 teams with the most superbowls picked 3 guys a piece from my mock leads me to believe I probably have a better idea of talent then most GMs. BQ is outthinking himself at this point. It shouldnt be this hard.

Other duties include salary cap, player personnel and licking old crusties from Martha's meat curtains.

When you're the superbowl Champions, and drafting a solid TE will be an upgrade or fill a hole, you draft that TE.

When you're picking 8th in the draft, drafting a solid player who isn't a difference maker is less significant. Same with drafting a situational LB in the second round. If the SB champs can get slightly better they're in good shape. Does anybody think the Lions were a 2 down run stuffing LB away from contention?

Actually this kid can at least cover a TE. Thats more than we can say about any other player on the team. I had him as a late 3rd round pick so not much of a reach either.

Look at it this way, he can also play ST so you will never have to see Miles Killebrew again.

Replacing a guy who took zero defensive snaps doesn't take much.
