Pro comparisons for the 2019 NFL Draft's top-50 prospects

45. Darnell Savage, S Maryland
NFL comparison: Damarious Randall

48. Terry McLaurin, WR Ohio State
NFL comparison: Kenny Stills

50. Darrell Henderson, RB Memphis
NFL comparison: Kareem Hunt

I would love to see these three in Honolulu Blue. 2nd, 3rd, 4th round picks.

Just make that 1st round pick Q. Williams or E. Oliver

2019 NFL Draft: The top 32 players available

A total of 54 different players appeared as first round selections across the mock drafts we reviewed. If a player was left out of one of the mock drafts, he was assigned a value of 33 for each absence to determine his draft average.

In the weeks since the NFL Combine and pro days, Devin White and Ed Oliver have emerged as apparent top-10 locks, both improving nearly five spots since our last consensus big board in early March. Michigan’s Devin Bush has made the biggest jump of any first-round player, moving from an average mock draft spot of 24th in March up to 15th.

Bush’s Michigan teammate Rashan Gary has been one of the biggest losers in mock drafts recently, falling out of the top 10 to an average spot of 16.0. Ole Miss wide receiver D.K. Metcalf‘s stock has also taken a hit, dropping from a draft spot of 10.4 to 17.9.

Pro comparisons for the 2019 NFL Draft's top-50 prospects

4. Ed Oliver, DT Houston
NFL comparison: Geno Atkins

meebs called this comp a couple months ago.

21. Devin Bush, LB Michigan
NFL comparison: Darius Leonard

smitty probably wouldn't agree this comp

27. JJ Arcega-Whiteside, WR Stanford
NFL comparison: Alshon Jeffery

48. Terry McLaurin, WR Ohio State
NFL comparison: Kenny Stills

Blue's 2/3 favorite WR in this draft (Jakobi Meyers is the other)

47. Justin Layne, CB Michigan State
NFL comparison: Josh Norman

I hope this comp comes true for Layne but I couldn't project that which means he's probably 1st yr Pro-Bowl

10. BRIAN BURNS, EDGE FLORIDA STATE
NFL comparison: Aldon Smith

Burns may have been a one-year wonder, but the tape he produced in that one year was special. He is the ideal pass rusher. He’s got length, strength and the body control to bend around the edge and get to the quarterback.

Starting to warm up to Burns or Ed Oliver at #8. Either one would be a welcome addition to the D-line.

Do you guys remember that one time we traded Willie Roaf and Lorenzo Neal for 30 year old Pat Swilling?

Thank goodness those days are long gone. I dont see us giving up draft picks for veterans any time soon. We are looking to trade back and get more picks.

All I want in this draft is to not make a trade slanted in NE favor. If Quinn can't objectively deal with them he should just not do it.
