I wouldn't be overly upset with Oliver at #8. Still think it would be foolish to pass on Metcalf if he is sitting there though.

I dont think Metcalf is the next Megatron or TO. I am not in a hurry to use the 8th on him.

Not sure why you wouldn't think that. Cause he got hurt in college or ran around some cones slowly?

Not impressed with his route running. He does have good hands and speed so he will be good. He is still raw though and I dont see him being a 1st year star like the guys I mentioned. He could end up being Andre Johnson level at some point but he needs time to develop.

I want a day 1 starter at #8

You want a guy who starts day one cause we have a "hole" on the roster instead of a guy who has a chance to be one of the very very elite of a premier position?
You could draft TJ Hockenson and he would start day 1 but he will never reach Gronk or travis Kelce Level.
99% chance that Jones won't be here next year and when he went down. We saw the drastic drop off in depth behind him and Golladay. WR is an under rated hole on this roster.

I am excited to see Brandon Powell as the slot guy. I hope he can become a consistant starter

It is not unreasonable but that is just my opinion. Even trading down to a team that needs a WR worse then we do to get more picks would be better for us IMO.

Again, it depends how active and successful we are in FA. If most of the holes are filled then it might make sense to go WR.

I just think too many people are impressed with this guys 40 time and his physique and not seeing the whole picture. He looks great against teams like LA Monroe and maybe in garbage time against Auburn, but the NFL is much more difficult and he is coming out early/young. By the time he pays dividends we may be looking at his second contract and that is if he can stay healthy which he has not proven yet.

Even with the Amendola singing there will still be a WR drafted but not in the 1st three rounds. imo.

Brandon Powell became a UDFA for a reason and I'm not expecting anything from him other than another year on the practice squad.

Really think Long would be a great fit opposite of Slay

I think I heard something like he had 11 drops out of 80 possible catches.
He's like a more athletic version of Ebron. Not sure if he is what this coaching staff is looking for though. Don't they like run blocking tight ends?

I would be so stoked if somebody like the Bucs drafted Rashan Gary. Let Josh Allen or Nick Bosa fall to us.

Pass. Coaches want all around TEs. No sense drafting a TE who cant catch or block just because he runs fast.

Irv Smith would be the best fit based on who we have now as well. I dont see us using #8 on him. Unless we add more players in FA it is best available Devin.

My order is one of the three blue chip prospects. Williams, Bosa, Allen. If they are all gone. Metcalf or best available Devin.
Either of those Devin's would be awesome WLB's for us.
