I have more faith in TW3 then most. I think we need a Vet though. Not sure a draft pick helps us this year anyway. Prefer an experienced guy for a couple years until Diggs takes over running the back 4.

Greedy is the press guy, but doesn't tackle(think Antonio Cromartie) and Murphy played zone like 90% of the time he'd be a great nickel corner(think Dre Bly). If they were to take a CB early it would have to be Deandre Baker good press guy and physical, but probably could get him in the 2nd.

I think Gary is going to go a lot lower than the media thinks.

I can't figure out how a guy who tested off the charts like he did had so little production on the field.

I know. Usually if you are a stud. You will dominate college and be really good in the pro's as well. The fact that his stats are mediocre at best is frightening. It's not like he didn't get high end coaching as well.

Most of the "Pro" drafters in the media always have the Lions making a homer pick or a stupid pick. They are all hacks when it comes to the Lions.

I am sure we have a group of players for the #8 and then depending on FA some will be eliminated and of course some will be taken before 8. In other words, the Lions dont even know yet.

Seems like the draft should be after free agency.
Build the future of the franchise in the draft first. Then use free agency to fill in the stop gag holes.

Tomatoe / Tomato. There will still be a gap or 2 even after the draft. There will be scrub signings after the draft too. Before the draft is usually just the higher profile FAs.

I wouldn't be overly upset with Oliver at #8. Still think it would be foolish to pass on Metcalf if he is sitting there though.
